A fantastic new opportunity has arisen for a Night Manager within a well-established and busy hotel in Belfast City Centre. As Night Manager you will effectively manage the Nights Department to an optimum level working closely with the Deputy General Manager. You will ensure the highest quality of customer service whilst leading your team to ensure guests have a positive experience during their stay.
Key Job Responsibilities:
·Handle guests’ requirements, queries and complaints where required
·Manage a team of porters ensuring all standards are met
·Keep the team up to date with daily communications including financial feedback, customer feedback and reports
·Carrying out interviews and contributing to recruitment decisions
·Close and consolidate daily business and report to all departments
·Prepare hotel for a new day paying particular attention to detail on presentation
·Must have previous experience in a similar role and be able to demonstrate industry awareness
·Knowledge of Microsoft Office and be computer literate
·Ability to lead a team, multi-task and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment
·Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills both written and verbal
·Flexible and adaptable to change
·Experience of Property Management Systems to include Micros/ Opera/ Callstar/ Meteor/ Onity etc
·Desire and ability to develop others
·Previous hospitality experience
Salary: £24k – £27k depending on experience
Hours of Work: Nights, need to be flexible with weekends included
