Alchemy Recruitment Solutions are acting on behalf of award-winning Enniskillen based Hotel who wish to appoint a Hotel General Manager.

We are currently seeking an accomplished and knowledgeable General Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will aspire to maximise guest experience within the
Hotel, whilst monitoring and driving standards and capitalising revenue streams.

They should be able to demonstrate leadership and motivation of a team, experience of working with budgets and forecasts, superior attention to detail, and maintenance of overall accountability throughout the Hotel.

They should also be passionate about meeting and exceeding guest expectations, and striving towards excelling in terms of service delivery. This is an excellent opportunity to work in an outstanding property, with a dynamic team and a reputation for providing first-rate standards of service and quality.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous experience as General Manager in a similar hotel property
  • Strong business and financial acumen with the ability to manage and work effectively within defined budgets, projections and targets
  • Previous experience in managing labour productivity, equipment, stock and material costs in line with operational demand, to improve profitability by continually monitoring and reducing variable costs
  • Ability to ensure compliance and implementation of all Company policies and procedures, including legislative requirements
  • Ability to ensure Standard Operating Procedures are achieved and maintained at all times, and are monitored and updated when and where necessary
  • Ability to inspire, motivate, lead and mentor the staff whilst promoting a positive image of the hotel at all times
  • Desire to achieve and drive standards within the Hotel identifying growth potential and opportunities to maximise revenues
  • Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate with personnel at all levels

Experience:

  • Hotel experience: 3-5 years (preferred)

Salary: £55,000+ per year, depending on experience.
