Award winning 4 Star Hotel based near Exeter in Co. Devon is seeking to appoint a new Head Chef to lead current team in this busy and popular establishment.
The ideal candidate will come from an excellent culinary background with previous managerial or supervisory experience within a reputable Hotel or busy dining establishment. Banqueting experience catering for large numbers would be an advantage.
Duties will include Menu planning, sourcing and negotiating with local suppliers, stock control and ordering and ensuring compliance with all HACCP procedures.
Excellent food presentation is also essential in this role due to the high standards of the establishment.
The successful candidate will be an ambitious and driven individual with an eye for detail and excellent delegation skills.
Ideally qualified to NVQ level 3 or equivalent.
Hours of work will be based on an average 40-45 hours per week (5 out of 7 days)
Salary – £38k-£42k + Bonuses
